Before Lindsey and I moved the family to Florida our small group from church wanted to make our last bible study together “Experiencing God” by Henry Blackaby. We got a lot of good biblical understanding from this study but one thing really stood out to us the most and has since served us well...join Him where He is already at work.
Not all mission work takes place overseas. In fact we all step into the mission field every time we walk out our front door. If you look around you can find plenty of opportunities to serve and help those in need outside of your church building.
Here are a few programs that Lindsey and I have become involved with and helped launch over the last few months…
As we continue to follow God’s steps and involve ourselves in the community, we see many more opportunities coming up to serve and teach others to be sustainable right here in our own backyard.
Mission for the Multitudes is a Christ centered mission that works in the areas of sustainable agriculture, evangelism, children’s ministry, and community development. Our mission is to help children of all ages break free from the chains of spiritual and physical poverty and help them realize their true identity in Christ.
