Expanding Our Egg Production!
Growing food and ministering to the physical needs of others is a big part of our ministry. The book of James tells us that our faith is dead unless we are doing something to alleviate the pain and suffering. It's God’s love that inspires us and our faith in Him that compels us to action.
Almost two years ago, a short term mission team came to our farm to help us build our first ever chicken coop. We had over 100 laying hens and were able to provide 2,500 eggs a month for the feeding programs we support. This one small deed made a lasting impact and to this day continues to help us provide much needed protein for those that may otherwise go without. AND NOW IS THE TIME TO EXPAND!! This year we plan to double our efforts and build a second chicken coop! Our goal is to increase our egg production to 200 laying hens and over 5,000 eggs a month! This will allow us to reach even more children and start new feeding programs in new areas. This increase comes with a cost but we know that God is with us and will always provide. ...AND WE ARE ASKING FOR YOUR HELP! |
